VINA PEST CONTROL — PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what information Vina Pest Control collects from customers, how it's used, and how you can control the text messages, calls, and emails we send about your service.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you request a quote, schedule a service, or contact us, we collect the information needed to serve your property, including:
- Your name, phone number, email address, and service address
- Details about the service requested, scheduling preferences, and appointment history
- Notes from technician visits relevant to future service at your property
- Billing and payment information when you pay for a service
- Any information you provide directly when you contact our office by phone, text, or email
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information above to:
- Schedule, confirm, and follow up on pest control appointments
- Send appointment reminders and technician arrival notifications
- Respond to questions, quote requests, and service issues
- Process payments and maintain service records for your property
- Meet legal, licensing, and regulatory requirements for pest control services
3. SMS & TEXT MESSAGING
With your consent, we send text messages related to your service — appointment confirmations and reminders, technician on-the-way alerts, rescheduling notices, and service follow-ups. Consent is collected verbally when you schedule service by phone with our staff, who will ask whether you'd like to receive these text reminders before enrolling you. If you've previously opted out, you can resume the program at any time by texting START to our service number.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on your scheduled services.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information collected, excluding text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, may be shared with vendors and partners as described in Section 4 — but opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for any purpose.

4. INFORMATION SHARING
We don't sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us operate — such as scheduling, payment processing, and communications platforms — bound to use your information only to perform those services
- Licensing or regulatory authorities where required by law
- A successor entity in the event of a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition
Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all sharing above and are never provided to any third party.
5. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to keep your information protected.
6. YOUR CHOICES
You can ask us to update or correct your contact information, opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or ask what information we hold about you by emailing npham@vinapest.com. We'll respond to reasonable requests promptly.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Our services are directed at property owners and residents, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from children, and our text and email communications relate solely to scheduled pest control service.
8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
